When you start a meeting recording (via meeting detection), the floating recorder stays in place. An option to hide that floating thing completely or move that to the menu bar would be really nice.
@ben Thanks for your suggestion. Could you elaborate why would you want to hide the floating panel? Is it for screen sharing or somethings else?

Screen sharing is one reason, but more like it’s sometimes located right on top of the things I need to see or click, it’s just a distraction that I don’t need to see, etc.

I hear you. We’ll consider option here.
Meantime, the floating panel is invisible for Screen Sharing. No matter if you share your whole screen or just specific window your viewers won’t see that you are recording the call.
If you’d like to change position of the floating panel we have three horizontal lines area on the right-hand side of the floating panel which is there for dragging the panel.
